Breyani Mix
All The Spice You Need To Make Your Own Breyani
Ingredients: Rice, lentils, ginger, ground natural earth spices, food colouring

How To Make Breyani
Additional ingredients Required

2kg meat of your choice or 2.5 kg vegetables
2 large onions: 4 potatoes; 1 tablespoon margarine or butter

METHOD:Preheat oven to 160 degrees

  1. Fry 2 large onions in oil in oven safe pot on medium to high heat. Scoop out half your fried onion mix for garnish once breyani is done
  2. Add desired main ingredients: 2kg meat of your choice or 2.5kg vegetables. Add 4 potatoes cut in halves.
  3. Empty this pack into pot and stir well.
  4. Salt to taste. Add 1 tablespoon margarine/butter.
  5. Add 6 cups boiling water.
  6. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes before placing in oven at 180″ with lid on. Place pot in oven for 2 hours checking on the hour. After first hour remove from oven and stir carefully from side of the pot working inwards. Add half cup boiling water to the center and place back in oven for remainder of second hour. Stir lightly before garnish.
  7. Garnish with fried onions and coriander Enjoy!
